🛠️ Key Responsibilities
⚙️ Operations
- Oversee day-to-day CHP operations including unloading, stacking, reclaiming, and feeding coal to boilers
- Monitor conveyor systems, crushers, screens, feeders, and associated equipment
- Ensure uninterrupted coal supply to the CPP boilers
- Coordinate with control room and boiler operations team
🔩 Maintenance
- Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of CHP equipment
- Diagnose faults in mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems
- Coordinate shutdown schedules and maintenance activities
- Maintain critical spares inventory
📊 Performance Monitoring
- Maintaining Stock like equipment availability
- Analyze operational data to improve efficiency
- Implement reliability improvement initiatives
⚠️ Safety & Compliance
- Enforce safety procedures and permit systems
- Ensure compliance with environmental norms (dust suppression, emissions control)
- Conduct safety audits and toolbox talks
