Job Description: Deputy Manager – Security 

1. To assist the Head of Security in planning, managing, and controlling overall plant security operations.
2. To ensure stringent access control for all personnel, vehicles, and materials at entry and exit points.
3. To ensure effective deployment of security personnel for round-the-clock vigilance.
4. To prevent theft, pilferage, and unauthorized removal of company property.
5. To conduct regular patrolling and maintain strict discipline across the plant premises.
6. To monitor CCTV surveillance, alarm systems, and ensure data recording and backup.
7. To maintain accurate records of visitor movements, vehicle logbooks, and material gate passes.
8. To coordinate with Transport and Weighbridge departments for vehicle checking and verification.
9. To liaise with local police, district administration, and law enforcement agencies as required.
10. To conduct periodic training, parade, and briefing sessions for security guards and supervisors.
11. To prepare and submit daily security reports, incident reports, and attendance records to management.
12. To enforce company rules, safety regulations, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) strictly.
13. To handle emergency situations such as fire, accidents, strikes, or intrusion with prompt action.
14. To conduct surprise checks at sensitive areas, stores, and boundary walls to ensure security.
15. To report any security lapses, breaches, or irregularities to the management immediately with complete integrity.
