JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose

To ensure safe, efficient and timely transportation of materials as assigned, while supporting the overall operations of the Logistics Department and maintaining compliance with company procedures, SOPs and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Look after the overall working and day-to-day activities of the Logistics Department.
• Operate the assigned vehicle safely and responsibly as per company requirements.
• Ensure proper documentation, vehicle records and compliance with applicable SOPs and safety standards.
• Conduct routine checks of the vehicle and promptly report any defects, abnormalities or maintenance requirements.
• Coordinate with concerned departments for smooth movement of
• Identify operational problems and assist in rectifying them through a systematic process.
• Maintain discipline, punctuality, cleanliness and proper conduct while performing assigned duties.
• Follow all company rules, traffic regulations, safety instructions and other duties assigned by the reporting officer.

Qualification & Experience

• Qualification: Minimum 10th Pass; valid driving licence for the relevant vehicle category.
• Experience: Preferably 3–15 years of relevant driving experience.
• Skills: Safe driving, basic vehicle knowledge, communication and adherence to safety procedures.
