Job Purpose:

To ensure smooth operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment in the SMS (Steel Melting Shop) division, minimizing downtime and ensuring safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment in the SMS division
• Troubleshoot faults in motors, panels, drives, transformers, and control circuits
• Ensure uninterrupted power supply to production units
• Maintain and repair LT/HT electrical systems
• Monitor and maintain PLC systems and automation (if applicable)
• Follow electrical safety standards and plant safety protocols
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment
• Maintain daily logs, reports, and maintenance records
