Helper (Turner) – Workshop [RMD]

SSIL, Angadpur, Durgapur – 15

Reporting to - Mr. Vindeshwar Prasad Yadav (Reporting Officer)

Head of Department - Mr. Ram Kripal Dubey (H.O.D.)

Job Responsibilities

• Assisting the Jr. Turner/Turner in daily workshop operations and machining jobs.
• Holding and handling tools, equipment, and job materials during machining and fitting work.
• Carrying materials, tools, and accessories within the workshop as required.
• Cleaning and maintaining tools, machines, and workplace area.
• Following instructions given by seniors, supervisors, and departmental authorities.
• Assisting in machine setup and operational support work whenever required.
• Helping in measuring, marking, and basic workshop activities under supervision.
• Ensuring proper housekeeping and maintaining safety standards in the workshop.
• Performing any other job/work assigned by seniors or departmental authorities from time to time.

General Responsibilities

• Maintain discipline and proper conduct inside the workshop premises.
• Follow all company safety rules and regulations.
• Cooperate with seniors and team members for smooth departmental functioning.
• Carry out duties assigned by the Reporting Officer and H.O.D. as required.
