Job Title: Senior Engineer – Heavy Vehicle

Role Overview:

The Senior Engineer – Heavy Vehicle is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining heavy vehicles such as trucks, buses, construction equipment, or mining machinery. The role involves ensuring performance, safety, durability, and compliance with industry standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead design and development of heavy vehicle systems (engine, chassis, suspension, braking systems).
  • Analyze vehicle performance, fuel efficiency, and durability.
  • Oversee testing, validation, and troubleshooting of vehicle components.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive regulations and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, R&D).
  • Manage projects, timelines, and technical documentation.
  • Support production teams in resolving technical issues.
  • Implement improvements for cost reduction and efficiency.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering.
  • 5–10+ years of experience in heavy vehicle or automotive engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools (like CATIA, SolidWorks, or similar).
  • Experience in testing, validation, and simulation.
  • Understanding of emission norms and safety regulations.

  • Knowledge of heavy-duty vehicle dynamics
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes

Preferred Experience:
