Job Purpose

To operate and monitor the CCM Control Panel during casting operations, ensuring effective control and monitoring of the casting process in accordance with established operating procedures, while coordinating with field operations, electrical maintenance, and production teams for smooth and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the CCM Control Panel during casting operations.
• Monitor electrical parameters such as motor current and fault alarms.
• Start, stop, and control the DRT, IRT & Hot Charging Rollers as per operating procedures.
• Coordinate with the CCM Field Operators, Electrical Maintenance, and Production Team during casting.

Qualification

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or relevant engineering discipline from a recognized institute.
• Relevant technical qualification aligned with the requirements of CCM/SMS operations.

Experience

• Relevant experience in CCM [SMS] operations.
• Experience in operating control panels and monitoring electrical parameters.

Skills & Competencies

• Basic understanding of CCM operations and control panel functions.
• Ability to monitor electrical parameters and identify fault alarms.
• Ability to operate equipment in accordance with established operating procedures.
• Effective coordination and communication with field operators, maintenance, and production teams.
• Ability to work attentively during continuous casting operations.
• Strong focus on operational discipline and adherence to prescribed procedures.

Key Functional Focus

The role is primarily responsible for CCM control panel operation and monitoring, electrical parameter monitoring, equipment control, and coordination with concerned operating and maintenance teams during casting operations.
