Job Responsibilities

• Carry out welding and fabrication work in SMS & CCM mechanical equipment.
• Repair and maintenance of:
  • CCM rollers
  • Pipes and structures
  • Chutes, conveyors, platforms
  • Ladles, tundish cars, hydraulic lines
• Perform Arc, MIG, TIG, and gas cutting welding jobs.
• Attend breakdown maintenance during shifts.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules.
• Read engineering drawings and welding symbols.
• Use welding machines, grinders, gas cutting sets, and fabrication tools safely.
• Coordinate with fitters, electricians, and production teams.
• Ensure safety standards and housekeeping in plant area.
• Maintain daily maintenance and welding records.
